12th ANNUAL RETREAT - Nuts and Bolts Plus”
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS:
Our theme this year is “NUTS AND BOLTS.” Day one will cover “Social Networks – what are they, how are they used and what do they mean” and Day Two will include four different segments “Media Trades, Fundraising, Marketing, Contracting and Volunteer Coordinating.”
All sessions are designed to be INTERACTIVE – so bring your questions, concerns, examples, hopes and dreams and be ready to share with everyone!!!
Day 1: Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 1:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.:
Part 1, Social Networks –What are they, what do they mean and how can I use them. How due Social Networks impact our organization with Chip Lambert, President and CEO of Network 2 Networh. Part 2, will be a hands on session with Ivan Schustak, Program Services Manager, Del E. Web Center for the Performing Arts.

Radio, TV Media and Marketing Trades with Lorna Rae from AZTV.
Session Two: Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.:
Contracting and Volunteer Management with Michelle MacLennan, Assistant Manager and TJ Dyer, Front of House Coordinator for Chandler Center for the Arts.
Session Three: Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.:
Marketing Nuts and Bolts with Sue DeBenedette, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Tucson Symphony Orchestra and Jo Allenson, UA Presents Marketing Director, UAPresents.
Session Four: Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:15 p.m.:
Changing Role of Arts Presenter as Fundraiser – led by Deb McCasland, Director, Major Gifts & Artistic Programming, Yavapai College Foundation.

Raymond Lambert:
Raymond “Chip” Lambert is a Business Development expert who works exclusively with seasoned professionals to leverage their existing relationships and catapult them into the business they truly want.
Chip began his career as an analyst and trader for a European Hedge Fund building relationships in the Latin American and European Markets resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions.
A professional trainer and business coach since 2000, Chip regularly consults professional firms on matters of melding time tested Business Development strategies with online Social Media strategy and unlocking the value of their existing network connections.
He has presented on matters of Business and Network Development to The Arizona Bar Association Solo and Small Practitioner Forum, The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Phoenix Suns, and various trade and professional associations.
A native of Phoenix, Arizona, he admits that he “loves his work a little too much”, but he does find time to travel, sail, and spend quality time with those closest to him.
Lorna Rae:
Lorna has worked within the advertising and marketing industry for over 40 years beginning in 1968 in Chicago. She has bought many forms of media within the contiguous United States on a local, regional, and national level. Within the agency arena, she has worked with various accounts: Hiram Walker, Merrill Lynch, Ronco Teleproducts, International Fitness, Continental Bank, KNIX, Smitty’s, Peter Piper Pizza, and the US Army while working at Foote Cone & Belding, Castle Advertising, Media Buying Services, Wells, Rich & Green, and N.W. Ayer.
The transition to sales began in Phoenix working at KOPA, then onto KKLT, KTAR, and KMVP. The second path within sales has been in television and includes KNXV, KPPX, and currently AZ-TV.
Her community involvement includes the Fairy Godmother’s, the International Baccalaureate Parents Association, and the Board of the Arizona Friends of the Talking Books.
